A Warren, New Jersey resident, Richard Belott has owned and operated Belott & Company CPAs LLC since 1992. Since launching the firm with his wife more than 30 years ago, Richard Belott has helped clients with a range of financial and tax planning issues.

Of the services he offers, Mr. Belott assists elderly clients with retirement and elderly care planning, where he provides guidance to his clients on comfortably transitioning from living in their homes to moving into an assisted facility or nursing home. He also offers some pro bono assistance to elderly clients in the Warren area.

In addition to working with elderly clients, Mr. Bellot provides tax and accounting guidance to doctors, real estate developers, dentists, restaurant owners, contractors, and electricians. He also helps business owners with financial and estate planning and offers assistance with compilations and retirement planning.

A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU), Richard Bellot has employed FDU students in their junior and senior years as interns during tax season. In addition to helping train students for the field, he and his wife support the FDU scholarship fund.

Besides his bachelor’s degree in accounting from FDU, Mr. Bellot is CPA and PFS certified. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, writing, exercising, and cooking.
